I had the exact same idea...

Bummer. I saw the filmmakers talk at an open night several years ago saying that about 3 or 4 of their short films, made almost 10 years earlier, had the exact same plot as features coming out of hollywood at the time of their talk. No-one had ripped them off, it was just people having the same interests. I reckon alot of people have similar ideas at the same time, all around the world and don't even know it.

Maybe when you see the film, it'll be totally different to what you were thinking. Otherwise, be happy that other people share your passions.

I think the Wachowskis had the exact same idea too, its called The Matrix.
