shareI thought the same thing. When the other boy had his barmitzvah was the first time, but when I saw the doctor in the apartment I actually yelled out "No, don't mutilate him!" afraid that that's what they were going to do.... a sick and barbaric practice.

Female circumcision is entirely different than male circumcision and done for a completely different reason!
shareWe watched this movie a few days ago, and I thought exactly the same. It would have spoiled the movie for me. Since it didn't happen, I must say it is a wonderful film, which I could watch again in a few years' time.
