Horrible movie
This movie is so bad, I wanted the guy to be tortured more.
After his girlfriend is almost raped in the woods they dont turn back but they continue their hike. They then get rid of the bulets for the gun. Now thats logic.

What did you do? Start an IMDB account... log onto 5 films. Say they are all horrible and then never come back to IMDB? I checked the film's you have commented on. All 5 you used the word "horrible" to describe. And it wasn't like you were commenting on TRANSFORMERS. You picked 5 pretty obscure films.
Just seems odd.
So much anger.
This is one of the few films where I was hoping the main protagonist (Michael) would die. Not a good sign for any movie.

He should have died. I mean, after everything that happened to him, there's no way he's still alive. That was my biggest problem with this film. You know, besides the crazy torture, religious overtones, and creepy inbred rednecks.

Meh. I kind of liked it. Watching it again right now.
Though um...most films have religious overtones, crazy torture, and creepy inbred rednecks now. Although more the first two. For god's sake, even the Chronicles of Narnia (L,W&W) had the first two (at least, the second was covered briefly in the books, note the altar scene in Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe). You can't really bring that up as a reason to hate a movie. :/
And usually the people who should die just...don't. Although the two newer Texas Chainsaw Massacres made up VERY nicely for that. ;]

Do you actually WATCH movies? Or do you just sit in front of your TV with your eyes closed guessing the scenes? To this I am referring to the imbecilic post by the OP.
At least if you are going to dislike a movie you could at least get facts about it correct first.
The girl, Sheryl, was NOT nearly raped in the woods. They just happened to come across three rednecks who were just perverts, well two, the one with the moonshine seemed normal(ish), the other two were just into ogling a semi-naked girl. Tell me where she nearly got raped?
The deformed freak almost raped her a ways past that scene but that wasn't what you were refrencing was it?
I have to laugh at how people are quick to put hate on a movie and end up completely not knowing what even happens.

shareI had to make an account just to say how bad this film was.
The dialogue was cheesy, the special effects were weak, the acting was sub-par and the entire premise was extremely ill contrived and unplausible.
No one acts like that in real life. I also liked how they had both girls fall in probably the same place in the chase scenes.
The ending was the didn't ruin the movie for me like most people are saying. The movie ruined itself when the guy threw the bullets away after the creepy dirtbag encounter. The ending was just as crappy as the rest of the film, so I guess it fit right in.
Needless to say, my fiance will never be choosing what we watch for movie night again. Last time he made me watch Wilderness. Which you will probably enjoy if you liked this POS.
