The ending of this movie has been stuck in my mind since I watched it yesterday. At the end when the main characters leave the room and leave the kid alone, suddenly a blade appears right beside the baby. What does this mean?. Does it mean that the baby is going to be a killer?

He apparently survived his burns, and tracked them down a year later for "revenge"
So the two main characters, and their baby, are all dead.
Because they are surely too stupid to fight him off and survive again. And they DEFINITELY don't have a gun in the house. You know, since a gun can magically load itself and climb up in the crib and kill the baby!
