Trailer music
I just saw the latest trailer and wondered if anyone knew what songs were used. There are several clips, but they all sounded so great.
shareI don't know the person's name who wrote the music, but he does have a small part in the movie. It's the guy in the trailer with the unkept hair who says, "sweet" while Matthew Broderick is playing the guitar.
shareHis name is Dan Zanes. Ironically he writes and performs music for children. The CD cover in the movie is very much like one of Dan's CD covers.
shareThere's some beautiful African music too. From Peter Gabriel's world music CD... and some music from the composer, Craig Richie, who scored the film (Dan Zanes only wrote the guitar solos and the song Matthew sang at the end)
