Cheesiest movie I have ever watched.

So hard to watch it became unbearable. Seriously, don't get me wrong I see what they were trying to convey with this movie but they done it in the cheesiest way possible.

Anybody agree? Leave your thoughts even if you don't agree with me. I won't bite your head off lol :P

I'm not sure what you mean by cheesiest, but if you mean low-budget then I can comment that it is an independent film with a very modest operating budget. But the story is the story and the performances are very good, so I don't consider that cheesey. I really thought this was a well done movie, certainly better than most of the studio released garbage we get fed. Now, that's what I consider cheesey.

I also would like some clarification on the definition of cheesy. Is it because they talk about fish falling out of the sky and then it happened? That was the closest thing I could associate with cheesy. But then I thought about how it made him so happy and gave him direction, and I believe it was an acceptable plot device. Now if Sanaa Lathan would have ran toward him and leaped in to his arms amidst the falling fish, that would have been cheesy. But as I remember, the shot was just Matthew's face in reflection. I love being able to see these movies on Netflix by the way, saw World's Greatest Dad the other day, also rocked.

I actually didn't find it cheesy at all. Some of the repetition was annoying, like how they kept saying bottom line(especially the Judge), but other than that the writing was very good, the acting better. It is a shame this didn't get wider distribution kinda like Mr.Singers cd.

If you love, Cheezits and are 100% proud of it, copy this as your signature.

No, not at all cheesy.

Well written, very well acted movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great performance from Matthew Broderick.

I'm just lost as to what point they were trying to make. All I got out of the movie was the following:

1. If you fight the system, you lose.
2. African people cannot get decent healthcare.
3. It's not normal to be suspicious of the human race. After all, we are all kind, loving, caring individuals that never lie, cheat, steal or bullsh*t us. And even if you HAVE met someone like that, over and over again, cheer up, buddy! The next person will most CERTAINLY be a better person, I promise! Just keep trying, no matter WHAT your common sense (and history) are telling you.

That part, by the way, is ironic considering his battle with the courts went SO well. I loved the part where the imaginary "man" gave his cheesy apology before disappearing. Smiling smugly as he moved away.

So he finds love, loses it. Has friendship, loses that too. Fights the system, loses. His daughter spent time with him, he loses that too, although it was nice that at the end he actually took her to a game instead of watched it on the television in a diner. Of course, that part confused me as well, though... Why couldn't he just watch it in his apartment? That's a friendly setting for a game they both enjoy, right? Family time at home?

Must have been a forced plot-point they were shoving at us, I guess.

In the end, after taking his daughter to actually see hockey instead of watch it on the television, and after giving his ex-girlfriend closure (with that touching notation of the tiny fish that suffer their last breaths in shallow pools of water that will eventually evaporate on the grassy lawns of Africa), he decides to play guitar in front of a bunch of kids. Happy ending indeed.

I don't know if it was cheesy but Jesus it was confusing. For me, anyway.

Oh, yeah, and I almost forgot. The title!! "Wonderful World".

Jesus are you kidding?? What part of the whole MOVIE was supposed to be "wonderful"?

The credits?
