shareI recommend "My Dessert Without Andre". HAR, HAR!!!
-Oh, Hell. That wasn't even funny. Anyhow, goodnight, everyone. Happy 2 and a half hours after Halloween, and don't take any wooden nickels. :-[
Terence
Bergmans "Persona". Long time since I saw it, but.
"Vred var Vingtor da han vaknet og hammeren sin han brått saknet."Trymskvadet
"Tape" has 3 people in it. That still counts as low, right?
WWJD - What Would Jeeves Do?
Knife In The Water: Roman Polanski's first movie, it only has three actors in it.
This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.
Here are 2 more two character films:
Closet Land (1991), http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101597/
Oleanna (1994), http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0110722/
Then there's the 1989 Australian film Dead Calm, which has 3 characters http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097162/
@tigudik
Thanks a zillion for recommending "Oleanna". Watched it yesterday and loved it. Definitely one the best performances of William H. Macy. It could be hard to find but youtube is awesome !!!

Bug

and Buried
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1462758/
from the best ones in the genre.
I'm not gonna be here that longshare
The Disappearance of alice creed is a great crime drama about a kidnap.
Just 3 people in it.
Death and the Maiden -- really good movie by Roman Polanski with only 2 actors, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley.
shareDeath and the Maiden actually has quite a few people in the cast, although only three are significant.
Give 'Em Hell, Harry has only one actor, James Whitmore playing Harry Truman, but it's really a filmed stage play. If you include that kind of piece and allow for TV rather than "movies," then there are quite a few -- Henry Fonda as Clarence Darrow, Robert Vaughn as FDR, James Whitmore again as Teddy Roosevelt, etc.
