My God this man is a terrible actor.

He has the screen presence of a little squealing runt, the charm of a chav football hooligan, his is not believable as a human being, he can barely move without destroying disbelief, he speaks like a 12 year old trying to be hard. In short he has the acting abilities of a dead badger.

This film would not have been saved by a better actor, but it would have been better than it was.

He is one of the worst actors i have ever seen. He isnt so even so bad he is funny, he is so bad he is just bad.

Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew, primarily known as Plan B or Ben Drew - Rapper, songwriter, director and the actor playing George Carter in this god-awful film.
Don't worry - I had to Google him as well!!

I feel sorry for Damien Lewis and Hayley Atwell... and I can tell Winstone's heart just isn't in this film, either.
I'm guessing it's another case of the script they initially signed up to was not the utter shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaite this final version turned out to be!

Ah, I see. Being American, I had no idea what the OP was talking about. The Sweeney was the only time I have seen Mr. Drew. I have both Winstone and Lewis in at at least two other films so I am familiar with who they are.

Being British, I had no idea either. I thought 'Plan B' referred to a line in the film!

Not knowing who Plan B I suppose says that you don't go follow modern music. Plan B is a very successful UK rapper. His tracks by alter ego Strickland Banks have done very well.

You say that like it's a bad thing!!

I've heard of Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Rhihanna... I actually like only one of them. That's about as modern as my tastes in music get, really. The most successful 'modern' rapper I can think of is that Eminem guy.
I stopped caring about modern music somewhere between The X Factor starting up and when kids started telling me about "this great new song Madonna wrote, called American Pie"!!

Saw him in Harry brown and was thinking I've seen someone worse than Danny dyer and that's saying something

He was very good in "Harry Brown" but really not good in this. Think he was well suited to his character in "Harry Brown" but playing a police detective is just not his bag, and he doesn't convince as a cop.
