They've already had that Minder remake debacle with Alfie Moon. Although if thats the bar set for this film, it shouldn't be very difficult to better.

Another lame attempt to pull in the saggy jeans teen market. I used to watch the Sweeney as an early teenager and no way would it have had the impact it did with a kid a few years older than me in a lead role.
Hope the producer looses his house on this one ... though judging by the apparent direction .. thats pretty much guaranteed.
What is wrong in cinema these days guys?? Even with a shockingly simple and powerful IP these YOPS scheme film school goons still screw it up.

sharei agree, zero character development, incoherent and totally unbelievable story, complete lack of regard for the general public, in the 70s you couldve got away with all of this but by sticking someone from the 70s into modern day society, they just cant pull it off, im amazed it got 6.1/10 here
