I have an idea for companies who specialize in Anime. Release the subtitled version first, so that we don't have to wait (what?) two years going on three to see Gunbuster 2. Isn't this one of the hottest properties floating around without distribution? Isn't this Gainax A Team? It is. Let's go, already!

It seams to me they wait so long (to long) to bring the subbed/dubbed version to us that it ends up being fansubbed and illegally distributed online so that when it does finally arrive, nobody cares and they loose money...
Why do they wait so long again ?
You do realize there is an Western bluray release for this, right? I bought my copy back in 2009.
