I got my R1 LE 2 DVDs, 1 CD today (6/28/07) from Right Stuff!
My only complaint would be the lack of any printed material- especially lyrics for the OST. I already bought the OST when it came out, but most of it's lyrics are in Japanese. When this situation occurred with the last OST and 2ng Gig disc 7 Limited Edition, I got a new booklet with the CD and it had most of the songs English lyrics.

I just picked up my copy today and the Best Buy near me FU big time. I bought the limited Ed. for $13 and they had the single ed. going fo $40. It was a steal.

I was thinking of getting the region 1 DVD but i think i'd rather wait for the region 2....as i'm from the UK.....Released August 26th i believe.... I have a copy (ahem) of the Jap version but i really think that the Eng Dub is one of the best available...So i haven't even watched it yet...Here's hoping it will be worth the wait...Seems like ive been waiting forever...Maybe i'll re-watch the 1st and 2nd Gigs to tide me over!

none of the GITS dvd's have been censored in the uk. i love em. got SAC 1 and 2 and the first film of DVD, just waiting for SSS to come out over here and i'll be getting that and gits 2. can't wait. one of the best motion picture series ever to be produced.
