Why is Paul Abbott not mentioned

When I watched this film I noticed Paul Abbott was credited in the begining credits as an exec producer I am surprised he is not credited on here considering there were a couple of characters out of shameless take Maxine Peake (Veronica) and Ciaran Griffiths (Mickey Maguire) that can't be a coincidence.
did anyone else notice this as IMDB didn't.

As Shameless is filmed in Salford did anyone notice any Salford locals
My brother and I think the school Danny's kids went to is on Langworthy Road in Salford

The school was in Sparkbrook Birmingham (I think),most of the film was shot in birmingham & coventry.
