This was a great anime. It felt like a cross between Ninja Scroll and
Samurai X (OVA). It is perfect for someone who is starting to get bored
with anime because you feel like you have seen them all. It is worth
the watch and almost perfect. It was my cup of tea and I'm sure someone
else will think the same.
I have enjoyed this anime as well so far. I like the use of color to convey emotion and the irony of the fated lovers.
It's not just another samurai slash.

shareThat's when I'm watching it! I thought I'd be a bit bored with them rerunning the episodes they ran back in Oct., but oddly enough.. I'm not. Still can't wait for them to get to the new material though. Good stuff.
It and Gunslinger Girl make a nice one hour block, good job IFC.

ok so i dont get it if you wanna see the whole thing just download the series by torrent or emule, all of it is there it will probably take you about a day or so its about 3 gigs so yea same with any other series there

You can watch all the episodes on this website. Just search Basilisk. great quality and it doesn't take 3 days to download a possible unsafe torrent.
Agreed and a special "bless you" for whoever decided to put these episodes to watch for free on IMDB. I watched this show on IFC when they aired it but I caught on late and started watching it from the middle never the less, I fell in love. When I have the $$ I'm definitely going to buy the whole boxed set.

I enjoyed it plenty. I admire it's ability to convey emotion and show that everything is grey. It made you sympathize with both sides and most characters as well as their relationships with each other. This anime was definitely moving. Not many have this ability.
