I think they are or for people who work on or around the water. Most of the sailors and surfers and mariners I know wear one.
shareYou must be pretty young or have not travelled to think that. That kind of bracelet has been typical local handicraft sold to tourists in many poor countries. They can be found by the thousands on street side stands. In the 70s everyone was wearing them.

well i live in nicaragua, have been to almost every country in the carribean and latin american, and no one wears or sells ionized bracelets, which is what he was wearing. and i don't watch movies at 3 in the morning, thanks. im too busy working.
