Really surprising - since the movie was pretty good. I have seen a lot more activity in the boards of much less deserving films.

Recently I watched a better Isabelle Huppert movie with Jacques Dutronc who played a pianist. That one I really enjoyed from the 1st minute to the last (it was also a drama). This one was even after 45 minutes rather dull, but I'll watch the bitter ending.
How people can praise this film is beyond me. There are much better French movies out there.
I watched the rest. As dull as the first 45 minutes...what a waste of time! One of the lesser good French movies.
Also I hate open endings. Did the dark-haired brother survive or not?
