Everytime i think about it, I cry. its so incredibly sad, plus the guy filming it was crying too if i was there i would've been bawling

it was one of the saddest things ive ever seen. especially when he said he wanted to be a teacher. we need to change this crisis right now.

When that scene hit. I cried. I thought about if my brothers were murdered; How can I live knowing that...

I don't know how anyone can laugh at these scene.... I'm really at a lost for words.

honestly this makes me feel the worst ive ever felt in my life. i wanna go to Uganda to make sure Jacob and thomas are safe. Everyday since i saw this i wonder if they are still alive.

jacob has been on the today show [which i haven't seen] and he was at the global night commute back in 2006..on the today show [or something like that, it was an early morning show] it said FORMER child soldier so that would lead me to believe he isn't anymore...as for thomas and the others, i really don't know

I agree with the OP, we watched this in class and I pretty much tried to hold it in and I was in doing so until Jabob started to cry. After he did, I lost it and it's so moving, this movie. I couldn't imagine ever going through what any of them had to.

It really was a lifechanging film. I was able to hold back my tears through the whole film up until Jacob started crying. What made it so heartbreaking was that he had been talking about how they never cry for fear of the LRA killing them. These are just children and they should never have to go through that. They should be playing, not wishing for death or mourning the death of a loved one. Since then, I have not been able to think about anything but the children in Uganda.
