The opening is always embarassing. As is the end when she sings with the guest. They always outsing her. Also, she has bad jokes.

This has to be the dumbest question I've ever seen on IMDB and believe me I've seen many that are truly stupid. Asking why Church always sings is like asking why Frank Sinatra always sang on his television specials. Church sings because she's a singer. People who tune into this program expect her to sing.
