The movie has to be a joke I mean, no acting, no plot, no CGI.
I could be basically a check list of things to avoid when making a movie, why do people can watch this piece of crap is beyond my understanding. Jason London must be really desperate to start in this "z" movie. NUIMAGE please avoid this SCI FI fiascos and stick to your "action" films.

Thanks for the honesty dude, still I think "better movies" are not always more expensive, see for example: Memento, Little Miss Sunshine, and so on, those were make with no that much $$$$ and see the result
shareA couple of sources list the budget for "Little Miss Sunshine" as $8 million. I think the average for a sci-fi original movie is around $1.5 million. Add to that the fact that they have to budget for F/X and the difference in budget is immense. Not to mention that the script isn't likely to be so attractive that talented people are willing to work for backend money.
I'm just saying, you're comparing apples and oranges. That's not to say great sci-fi can't be made on the cheap, but sci-fi movies have a formula that works for them. Like firing automatic weapons at an old convertible for 2 straight minutes and not managing to crack the radiator or take out a tire.
