And his friend did to stuart when he was a Child?
Like sexual stuff or only mean stuff?
And how can they did al that to him qhile in their own house... Didnt their mother check or them or something ?

Btw I think his mother actually have a lot to do with what he became.
She didnt took care of him ,she didnt knew he got bullied at school.
She left him get orderded by the step father??? Wtf is that

1) The rather long conversation Stuart had with Alexander! 2) Stuart's sister stated her brother Gavvy had 'done' the same things to her. 3) There was the kid with the bottle as the brother held Stuart down. Now, in my opinion, it couldn't be clearer than crystal as to what went down there.

Anyhoo, I'm not sure you're in a position to judge a real mother (non-fiction), that you don't know personally and are judging based purely on one 2-hour movie. I may be wrong, but that's my opinion.

However, I have some questions and comments, based on your post ...

Are you serious?? I'm not quite sure whether you're a complete and utter bloody moron, or you're 'getting off' asking for a more detailed response surrounding the sexual abuse Stuart suffered. My guess is, it's most likely both. I say this because you only need a few brain cells to realize exactly what was going on inside Stuart's head.

I also don't agree with your rant about his mother. Perhaps she wasn't home; perhaps she was downstairs cooking dinner; looking after the daughter etc etc! What mother today, would automatically assume one of her sons was being sodomized by another son?? And if she did, do honestly think it'd cross her mind that Gavvy's mate would be just as sick in the head? I'd think she'd see that as being 'safe' knowing they'd be fine with a mate there as well. That is IF she was aware of what was happening between the two brothers. How many times does your mother check on you in your room when you have a same-sex mate over??

Of course, it's so very easy to both judge and blame the mother isn't it? Like you know their situation and circumstances... NOT!! There are plenty of kids who get bullied every single day and their parents are none the wiser. Back then, maybe she just thought it was a right of passage, who knows, I don't?!

As for the step-father (and I may be wrong here), but I thought all he asked of Stuart, was that he go out and confront his bullies and stand up for himself. Hindsight's 20/20 isn't it?! Perhaps he could of handled that differently, but still, in 2015, there isn't a manual on how to be the perfect parent. Jesus, I've failed, even when I thought I was doing what was best for my children, and that's only very minor stuff. You do the best you can, at the time, with what you have. I'm guessing you don't have children!?!

I can't begin to imagine the pain this family suffered, regardless of who did what, when and how. It's a horrid and vial situation that unfortunately is still way to prevalent in today's society.
