Show love for Barney

Aren't those "shipper" freaks something? Sure there's the fairly obvious Gordon & Alyx thing. I've even heard of Judith being paired off with Kleiner or Eli.

But I heard something a couple months back that came TOTALLY from left field. I think I mentioned it once before...

Barney and Chell.


And I thought DAMN, that's random. But I thought about it. We DID find out Barney was apparently dating a woman named Lauren during "Blue Shift", as a note seems to indicate. Of course it's possible since the 7 hour war Lauren had died or they drifted apart. Barney seemed too wrapped up in saving humanity to have time for romance anyway.

However Chell CAN be a last name. What if her full name was Lauren Chelle and after beleiving Barney got killed in the nuke at Black Mesa she started working for Aperture? Then she gets abducted and put in stasis for 20 years by her corrupt supervisors. Barney couldn't find her and assumed she was killed in the 7 hour war.

Yeah, I know. Wacky. Pretty damn unlikely. Alright, never gonna happen. But I would like to see good ol' Barney get some love too.

So let's hear the love for the Cman. Even though he's not in THIS game, let's hear it for the unsung hero.
