That's all I have to say about it. At least then, there'd be some justice in the world. I wouldn't do that personally of course, but I and many other Democrats wouldn't exactly "miss" George W. if you know what I mean!

In regards to the original post, I'm glad this movie wasn't true. No matter how terrible of a president Bush was, having Cheney take the office of the most powerful man in the world would have been a disaster of epic proportions.
The election was not stolen in 2008. Nor was it stolen in 2000. The candidate in both years won fair and square.
Obama just happened to get both the electoral vote and popular vote this time. Whereas, Bush, a much better person with better morals (HINT, HINT), wasn't as much of a rock and roll star as Obama this past year.
Plus he didn't think the same as Obama either, which is a good thing.
I think it is sort of stupid that you can win the popular vote but lose the electoral vote. Doesn't this seem strange? Maybe there should be a rehaul in that process, since no other office does that anyway.

That's how it usually works---what's unusual is what happened in 2000 (and whomever said it *wasn't* stolen in 2004 is correct---Bush won both the popular and electoral vote in 2004 "fair and square" as far as we know, just as Obama "just happened" to in 2008).
And despite your capitals when you type "HINT, HINT," I don't get what you're hinting at. How has Barack Obama shown himself to have poor morals? So far, he's been an upstanding family family, from modest roots, without benefit of a wealthy or powerful upbringing, and spent a good portion of his career for the public good. HINT HINT what? If Obama were the alcoholic, I might think that's what you were alluding to, but he isn't, and a recovering alcoholic (as presumably GW is) is a person with a disease, not a moral problem. If Obama were responsible for Gitmo, I might think that's what HINT HINT meant, but...he wasn't. So please, I am curious what HINT HINT means.
I know that not every President is perfect, but Bush did tell lies of WMDs in Irag, and th e U.S. invades, and kills a bunch of innocent people, based on his lies. His lies, which never admitted to. There is no admission of guilt on his part, and he never owned up to it. Ne just denies. If he would actually admit his guilt and maybe surrender himself over to the Iraqi government with a guilty plea, to be arrested and tried for his crimes, I would then have respect for the man.
But until he does that, I consider him to be an evil, selfish man, and have not much sympathy for him.
Me neither. It is amazing he didn't get assassinated in his last days in office. I have the feeling 9/11 contributed to it in this way: after that, there was tighter security, making it harder to assassinate him.

Shame on you, brucecarson2008. I hate GW, I hate what he did to our country, I hate what he did to others in the world, and I hate what he did for our standing in the world. But to wish him dead? No.
I saw the movie, and it portrayed Bush, if anything, as a human being in a sympathetic light. So if anyone thinks the movie will just satisfy some liberal fantasy (I say that as a liberal), it doesn't. It shows murder. It shows chaos. It shows devastation.
And people SHOULD watch the movie and think about what we're stirring up in our own country right now.

Nobody assassinated George Bush because they knew Dick Cheney would end up president, and he was the real problem--him and Rumsfeld and the other a$$holes in the Cabinet. Bush wasn't actually responsible for most of the *beep* that went on during his president--he was merely irresponsible. He was weak, he couldn't handle the presidency, and he really had no idea what his actions were doing.
And that's why he's one of the worst presidents of all time: because he was so weak. His bigotry against anyone who wasn't Christian didn't help, either.
