Yes, they are actually very different, for example:
* - George W. Bush got power over a country (the second time, 2004, he wasn't democratically elected, but actually lost when you count the votes) with an economical surplus, went to war, and created one of the countries biggest deficits in it's entire history.
- Hitler took over a country, with approximately 37% of the votes, and despite an enormous deficit, Hitler went to war. Damned thing is, the German economy got better from it!
* - George W. Bush would not agree to sign the Kyoto-protocol, despite the fact that practically the whole world ( http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/1e/Kyoto_Protocol_participation_map_2005.png/800px-Kyoto_Protocol_participation_map_2005.png ) has signed it. George W. Bush has not at all impressed on the subject of animal rights. Some may say he's not really done anything good on the subject whatsoever.
- Adolf Hitler was very found of animals and nature, and Germany had to this date the strictest rules ever on animal cruelty. No country has ever treated animals as well as Germany did during Hitlers rule.
* - George W. Bush hasn't really done anything to stop people from smoking, as a matter of fact, since W. Bush came into power, another version of consuming tobacco (doesn't damage your lungs, but contains more nicotine and is bad for dental hygiene) that is really only popular in Scandinavian countries, has now entered the American market.
- Hitler was very anti-cigarettes, not only did he campaign against smoking, he gave his officers and close friends gold watches if they stopped smoking.
