I used to think that it wasn't possible for a 104 day summer vacation. But after a little research and some quick math, it turns out it IS possible. If their school is done before Memorial Day, and doesn't start until after Labor Day, then in certain years that does work out. Granted in most states where school ends by Memorial Day, they go back mid August, and schools that start after Labor Day usually end in mid June, but for simplicity lets put that aside.

There's 30 days in June, 31 in July and 31 in August for a total 92 days. The earliest Memorial Day can be is the 25th. So that gives 7 more days, plus the weekend of the holiday, making it 9 more days. Then the latest Labor Day can be is the 7th. So 92 + 9 + 7= 108 Days of Summer Vacation.

And if you're wondering if that can ever happen, it will in 2020!!!!! Enjoy the long summer everybody!!!

Crazy that the extra long summer would have been in 2020 ... the year Spring Break didn't end until August or for some schools, not until August 2021!
