Truly HORRIBLE...

Words cannot describe how awful this movie is. I fast forwarded to the end after 12 minutes and returned it to the video store where I asked for my money back.

The clerk was sympathetic, admitting that it was, indeed, a horrible movie.

I got a refund.

"I'm through being polite, goddamn it!"

reply

Sucks that you didn't like it, but I didn't know you were able to get your money back, I wish I knew that when I saw Bruno!

My brother went to see "How To Train Your Dragon" at the theatre and walked out 45 minutes into it. He went to the ticket agent and complained and guess what?

The theatre gave him his money back too! HOw about that?

"I'm through being polite, goddamn it!"

reply

Most theaters will do that so long as you don't sit through the entire movie (otherwise you could just say you hated the movie and then you scored a free movie). My friends and I walked out of Dinner for Schmucks after like 30-45 minutes and asked for a refund because it was such a horrible movie and they gave it to us. I'm thinking if you get out before or around the half-way point, you're good for a refund.

reply

That didn't happen. The clerk would've laughed in her face.

What a crock of sh*t

LOL. Very classy. Maybe the clerk did refund your money. Just to get you out of his face. At any rate, normal people don't demand refunds from video stores because they didn't like a movie. And if they do, they certainly don't go on-line and brag about such shrewish behavior.

Boy you dont like being called out, do you? Ok then, I gotta head off to work and I'm sure you have a school bus to catch. Love ya, babe.

Make sure you don't burn the burgers today while you're working. Oh, and don't forget to ask if they want fries and to supersize it while you're at it.

You'll make manager in no time....

And since you are such a sweetheart, I will instruct my workers NOT to spit in your food.

reply

Lucky for me I don't eat s h i t made by s h i t heads like you...

Spitting is what you probably do best anyhow...

That or swallowing. Only you know that for sure. I don't want to make any assumptions...

Then again, perhaps you're too stupid to know the difference between the two...

Anger issues AND unoriginality. ;-*

This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here.

reply

So first you say your brother went to the ticket agent and complained, getting his money back. Now the manager overhears him and offers a refund? I think you just proved the other person's point.

reply

See...when you're not there in person to witness the whole conversation, you make yourself look like a bigger ass by making assumptions on a public forum. The theatre manager just happened to be in the same booth when the complaint was made to the ticket agent, so in essence, the complaint to the ticket agent was overheard by management...leading me back to the point of how the money was refunded.

Now, please go mind your own business and quit making an ass of yourself for today. Feel free to continue again tomorrow.

There are no words to describe the depth of idiocy one must possess in order to defend the artistic merits this piece of trash movie so glaringly lacks.

I'd rather be "arrogant" than IGNORANT, EGGhead.

Uh, I disagree. I laughed myself silly and thought the main character was sweet and sincere. Is that what we call good acting? Or is Anna Faris just naturally that way?

Loved it. It's not a movie to watch again, but first time around, it's a pleasure.

reply

I like how the person that got really pissed off in this thread wasn't even who the "offensive" comment was originally directed at.

reply

I must admit i hated this movie too, and its good that you actually got a refund if i had known otherwise i would have refunded my money back after seeing The Blair Witch 2.

reply

Just a question; why did you fast forward to the end? If it was on dvd you just need to push eject. If it was vhs, which I doubt, why would you ff just to rewind?

Telling.

reply

Oh leave her alone, she just wanted her $2 back. LOL

(Good point though!)

reply

after 12 minutes

In all fairness, the good part starts at around the 18 minute mark.

Would You like to know more?

reply

I thought it was fun and entertaining, certainly not horrible.

reply

I agree. It actually turned out to be better than I expected.

reply

It is bad but I still watch it about once a year because it has Emma Stone in it.
