I enjoyed this very film very much! I have some questions hopefully people can help me with here. thanks!

1) who is the actress that plays the assistant to the manager at the funeral home? she's pretty hot :)

2) did the main character make out with some of the drug cash at the end? did he take some out and left the rest with his sifu?

3) what is the relationship with sifu and the main character? are they father and son, or are they just coach and athlete?

4) what dialect did the two assasin/thief and the main character speak in?

5) are some actors from taiwan?

1) the actress's name is Lu Wang (王鹭);

2) yes i think it's implied so;

3) they're just coach and athlete - in chinese the word "sifu(actually the correct spelling should be 'shifu')" means "teacher" or "coach";

4) the assasins/thieves were speaking in the northeastern provinces accent, but i'm not quite sure about the main character's - sounds slightly different, maybe the northwestern accent or northeastern as well. but it's not a dialect. it's just an accent;

5) yes.

4)the main character was speaking in Qingdao (TsingTao) accent. The actor Huang Bo is from Qingdao, a city in Shandong Province.

Let me answer your queries.

1) Her name is Wang Lu. 1984/08/07 She is not a professional actress. The casting director found her in the city where the film was shot. She works in a real estate company, sales.

2) No. The main character did not know the cash was in the box. The fat mafia guy splashed out his shifu's ashes and put the cash in the box. The main character only retrieved the box and buried it in the end. That's why he murmured in front of his shifu's tomb, hoping his shifu to put a hex on the "money"(for the dead) again.

3) Caoch and athlete, but seems the main character is an orphan, his shifu brought him up so they looked much like father and son.

4) Shanxi and Henan dialects.

5) Yep, Li fala (Jack Kong) and fat mafia (Rong Xiang) are from Taiwan.
