True, it wasn't much more. But I considered the relationship to be more genuine than the one depicted in this movie because no one in the zoo was trying to rationalize the lack of communication by saying hoity-toity nonsense such as "lays bare the anathema of modern existence as vividly rendered by two yearning diasporic souls adrift among the American ennui."
