Once again, slacktivism dies the ignoble death it deserves...

Ah yes, Michael Moore has decided to turn his pity party into a nationwide event. Moore sought to mobilize the most uninformed, uninterested and uncaring members of our society, and surprise surprise, failed miserably. Once again, 18- to 25-year-olds gave the poorest showing during a national election, proving once again that college students are more interested in keggers, sleeping until 3 p.m. and whining and complaining about how unfair the world is while still expecting mom and dad to foot their bills.

I mean, what do you say about a generation whose theme song is John Mayer's "Waiting on the World to Change." My god people, it's a protest song that actually encourages people to whine, sit back and expect someone else to fix the world's problems.

It's a testament to Moore's incredible ego that his pathetic failure is now being packaged as though it was some sort of victory. That he somehow accomplished something. But it's not really that, either, though that's the way it's being marketed. No, this is all about Moore. Moore's tour. Moore's accomplishment. Moore's actions. Moore's legacy. John Kerry? Who's that?
