i really enjoyed this
i really like this film.At first I thought the direction was alittle hectic but I soon realised it really suited the film. I never seen a film like this. All the cast was really good especially Ronnie Blevins.

The cast drew me into watching this, Kilmer, Falk,
Dern and Torn are names that always catch my eye.
Ultimately, it cannot decide if it wants to be a black
comedy or an out right farce, which is sad, as it had
potential.
A good script editor could've whittled this movie down
to something less hectic and more grounded to a specific
genre.
I thought this was a great movie, and I disagree with the second poster, I like it the way it is and think it should be left like this. It has this amateur feel, but it feels like a beatles song, dont rerecord or remaster or anything like that, its perfect the way it is dont touch it.
Im a H user as well, and I really connected with the main character.
Whats more is that I checked out this board out of curiosity after watching the movie, and I saw how this guy called peterego or something like that was bashing the movie. He kind of reminded me of the neighbour coach guy. I always had problems with people like that too, but Im trying to work on myself and Ive realized that those people shouldnt be able to affect me because they are mentally unsound. Although I wish them all the best of luck with all kinds of growth, particularly mental and spiritual.
Anyways, apparently the filmmaker was on this board, if he reads this. I thought your movie was one of the best movies Ive seen in a while, and I hope you make more movies similar to this one. It seemed like he really did something special even if it didnt make millions of dollars. I think this movie was better than anything spieldberg or oliver stone have ever made. but thats just me, I guess I really liked the main character and the girl, and the surrogate moms, and the garden. And I was really happy that the coach didnt win the contest. It would have been nice to see him finally get off drugs, and Roe get off alcohol. But I guess once you feel that completeness and total satisfaction life just doesnt do it anymore.
