Only ever watched one episode but apparently Shaggy has an "Uncle Al" that he sees via hologram (I swear I'm not making this up) and it sounded like Casey Kasem's voice.
Guess he'd do a guest shot (since he isn't in the credits) but not the whole show.

That's right. Casey Kasem voices Uncle Albert on the show, but not Shaggy. I guess they wanted Shaggy to be a bit younger with that annoying voice by Scott Menville (people always mention he was Robin on "Teen Titans," but don't forget he was also Red Herring on "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo," as well as Larry and Steve on "Rugrats" and Dwayne on "Full House."
