what production company?

There is no way this is HB productions. this stuff is total CRAP!!! I just don't get it. Why is it that stuff that was great 30 years ago is no where to be seen on Sat morning TV anymore. I mean the Today show is on right now, what the ____ is that about? I mean kids are kids they would enjoy Scooby doo Where Are You just as much today as it was back then. To kids everything is new. Why is Schoolhouse Rock not on anymore? Has mathmatics and grammer changed also? A noun is still a noun, and three is still a magic number, right? You know, I never felt like I was ever talked down to with the programming for kids back then. Which is probably why I can still enjoy those programs today, but these programs today just seem to be silly and stupid with no reason for the action. I agree with the earlier post, that they should just stop making new Scooby Doo cartoons. I would say that since the '78-'79 episodes the only Scooby even worth watching is the Whats New series. Now with all af this said, does anyone know what production company makes this crap? I will be shocked if it is HB.

I hate to say it, but Hanna-Barbera doesn't make Scooby-Doo anymore. Starting in the early 2000s with movies like "Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase," Warner Bros. Animation (better known as Termite Terrace) took over on production on Scooby-Doo cartoons. They also produced "What's New Scooby-Doo." You can tell it's not Hanna-Barbera on WNSD and the new series because they don't use the Hanna-Barbera sound effects very often! That is one reason why "What's New Scooby-Doo" isn't as good as the original series. But "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Geta Clue" is starting to use the Hanna-Barbera sound effects a bit more, with episodes like "Lightning Strikes Twice."

Thanks for the info. I knew there was no way this was HB but there was also no way I was going to watch this crap again to find out. Thanks.

Hanna-Barbera was absorbed by Warner Bros. years ago. It's the same studio, different name.

Wait, I thought it was the same studio that Chuck Jones and Friz Freleng used to work for! The same studio that animated such timeless classics as "What's Opera Doc" and "One Froggy Evening!"

Well, what ever studio is responsible, they should assume responsibility and cancel this mess. I just hate to see a spinoff of a show, that I love, be portrayed the way I saw two weekends ago. Scooby is done and better left alone. Just now release the complete Scooby Doo show from 1978 on dvd. Here is a thought, maybe what would be cool would be to have a cable or sat channel dedicated to fully duplicating saturday morning programming. Complete with schoolhouse rock and vintage comercials. They could run the programming every Sat. morn. The only problem now is that the programming would have to start around 10am for me to catch it. 7am, Saturday morning, I am still in la la land.

Yes it is hanna barbera productions. HaNNA barbara did stop making production of scooby-doo in the early 2000s but this one was Hanna-Barberas idea. I am not lying to you, My brother works in the entertainment buisness and he told me that piece of Lard was invented by hanna-barbera productions inc. Hanna-barbera iz not the ones who created it, BUT they came up with the entire idea! A different production company created it, But My bro told me that HB came up with the entire idea! all Warner Bros.(ones who created it) did waz put the show on the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
