When the STARBUCKS CEO while attending a basketball game claimed that the blockage of his store and the breaking of the stores window was "an injustice" the world's mouths froze in shock at his utter audacity. Between the 1970's when a cup of coffee was a little as a quarter and an average of 50cents to the mid 90's and the Starbucks marketing trick of conning people into paying unheard of sums of money for a cup of coffee; the price paid to Third World peansants farmers who break their backs in the hot sun growing and harvesting the coffee beans dropped to an ALL TIME LOW. The moment in time when Starbucks created the highest priced retail cup of coffee in history in both numerical and real value terms under the very same CEO the price paid through the commodities markets to the peasant growers fell to the lowest real-terms value in historical record.
