The DVD

The DVD has a free ticket to go to Ghost Town in Maggie Valley NC, I think I may have read this in an earlier post, but my question is: the movie came out October 28, 2008 and the park closes November 2, 2008 until next year, here comes the question: will the ticket be good until next year? The movie costs $14.96 at Wal-Mart near where I live and a ticket for Ghost Town in the Sky costs $30 (you do the math) it would be cheaper to buy the movie then go to Ghost Town sometime next year. If anyone knows this please let me know.

thanks,

I checked online http://www.ghosttowninthesky.com/ the park is only open from May-November 2, 2008, then is closes for the winter until next spring around May. The website didn't say anything about the free ticket that comes with the DVD though.

The park operated from 1961-2003 closed for 4 years (I assume the movie was filmed during that time, though it didn't take that long to make the movie and that wasn't the reason the park had to close) the park was then purchased by another company and reopened in 2007 for the spring/summer season closed for the winter reopened for the spring/summer season of this year (2008), I really don't think they would open the park in the freezing cold winter (I wouldn't want to be there). But I could be wrong.

Thanks again,

If you read right on the free admission ticket that came inside the DVD it states the voucher is good for the 2009 season and expires on November 15th, 2009. Bottom left hand corner of the voucher. .
