Claremont Station

Hey I'm wondering if anyone else was wondering the same as I was when the doors opened for Claremont and there was a view of the pub (now the Claremont but I still call it The Redrock sometimes), which is where a few young ladies went missing from in the 90's, and that Lisa had that running through her mind as she stood there. In a sense that the intersection of Gugeri and Bay View Tce was a symbol of danger for young pretty ladies and that she was no better there than on the train.

Anyone else pick that up or is that a bit of a coincidence I may have stumbled on??

I sure did. I am not familiar with Perth at all but I have heard of the Claremont Hotel and the missing girls and I certainly caught the reference.

I didn't think of that right away, actualy not until you said that. I was pretty young when it happened so its not in my conciousness and I've never felt unsafe in Claremont so the thought never even crossed my mind

Lisa wasnt going to get off at Claremont.

She was going to get off at the cemetery place.

It was Maureen that was going to get off at Claremont. But she just stood there and watched the girl yak over the fence. And decided instead to stay (and talked about not wanting to burden her children).
