Just curious if someone can let me know the ending. My copy that I rented screwed up near the ending and I don't know what happened. I don't want to spend more money on finding it out so if someone could give me the ending it would be much appreciated.

shareI just finished watching the film. Let me know at what point you lost the movie and I'll let you know. A lot happened at the end so I need to know how much to explain.
shareI missed the last ten minutes of the film.
shareBasically David tries to save Shannon and gets knocked out by the Chris Vale. Shannon then shoots Chris in the head TWICE. (The reason for the capitalization will be seen below.) When Shannon is with the cops at the end she sees someone emerge in a cloak, thinks it's Chris and shoots him again. It turns out it was David whom she just murdered. The last scene shows Chris inexplicably still alive and hitching a ride with someone. Then the credits roll after the car drives off. Chris' miraculous survival is not explained.

How the cops bagged the body instead of Chris, doesn't seem very possible to me. They should've at least checked the face before body-bagging him.
If David was the one hovering around Chris's mum's corpse before Shannon double-tapped him, why wasn't there blood around his neck/head when the cop unzipped the bag at the end?
If Chris was the one hovering around his mum's body, how the hell did David become the one wearing the costume (and ended up getting bagged by forensics)?
Doesn't make sense to me, so I've given it a 3/10.
I'm pretty sure the person she shoots "twice in the head" is her boyfriend whom was put into the costume while he was knocked out.
If you notice when it shows the shot of the person in the costume holding the dead body. It looks like he has just woken up, and is wondering why he is holding the dead body. Watch the hand gestures during the scene.
She then comes to and shoots him, and that is why his body is in the bodybag instead of chris's at the end, when she shoots him again.
even if it was her boyfriend who she shot, him and chris were both supposed to be just normal people, so neither could really survive those shots, plus, when she shots the boyfriend at the end there is no visible damage in there area where the figure was shot , they basically ripped off Halloween H20 at the end
