He was the coolest character in the film! I'd would have rather seen a film with just Samuel trying to survive the zombie outbreak!

Yeah, he was a great character. Shame he died so soon. I remember someone, on this board I believe, once stated that Romero missed a great opportunity for commentary with the character too, using the example of the characters showing him how a bunch of their gadgets work and him saying they were useless now.

Good commentary or not, he would have been an awesome character I suspect throughout the movie.
