Eerie horror fest 2012 press release

LOS ANGELES, California (October 2, 2012) – Five years after BadFritter Films swept the major awards at the Eerie Horror Film Festival with their Sasquatch themed Paper Dolls, the film returns to the festival for a special encore screening followed by a Q and A with the filmmakers. The special presentation is slated for 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Warner Theater in Erie, Pennsylvania and will include the festival debut of the filmmakers’ short film “Cliff Lake”.

Eerie Horror Film Festival programmers invited the Northwest-based production company to the special
encore presentation to satisfy requests from fans. At its unprecedented premiere festival screening in 2007, Paper Dolls took home awards for Best Actor, Best Director, and Best Feature.

“We’re excited about returning to Eerie,” says Adam Stilwell, BadFritter Films Producer. “The fans at the Eerie Horror Film Festival have been great to us since the debut screening, and this encore presentation gives us a chance to thank them with some special extras.” The Eerie screening of Paper Dolls, which Dread Central called “the scariest campfire tale ever told”, will include a screening of the company’s short film “Cliff Lake”, a dark take of survival set in the Montana wilderness and recently deemed an “Editor’s Pick” on Robert Duvall’s Openfilm.com. BadFritter Films will also treat Eerie audiences to behind the scenes footage from “Cliff Lake” and a special sneak peak of their upcoming sci-fi feature, Ragnarok.

BadFritter Films, LLC is an independent production company with offices in Los Angeles and Montana specializing in horror, sci-fi, and psychological thrillers. The company is set to release its second feature-length film, Ragnarok, at the end of 2012. For more information visit www.BadFritterFilms.com or www.facebook.com/badfritterfilms.
