What year is it supposed to be?

Their grunge-style/pop-punk clothes, hairstyles, and the alt. and techno music suggest late '90s/early' 00s. Plus that flip phone.

It's shot in 2006 but releast about 10 years later ... so I think it's supposed to be 2006 ... looking at their cell phones it would figure.
