A Lovely film
This was a great movie. Very good story and I'm thrilled they both had a happy ending.
I agree. An excellent film. I respect the fact that both Muslims and Jews can live in harmony. I hope the world can learn from this and live in peace. I have friends of many different faiths and living in America gives us the freedom to live peacefully. Amazing. The movie accurately portrays what today's generation of religious Muslims and Jews go through in respect to family pressure and cultural convictions. I could relate to both of the characters and I am thrilled the movie had a happy ending.

In fact even this ending sugest that both girls stopped working due to marriage and the birth of their children.
In real life both comunities stand appart and ferocious to the other one.

Y'know this is a horrible stereotype. Yes there is a political debate/fight between the 2 communities, right now. This is a recent event that established in the early 1900s.
BOTH my grandfathers, who are Muslims, married Jewish women. My father's father married my grandmother in the early 40's; my mother's father married my maternal grandmother in the early 50's. This was at the height of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
So, this concept that the Arabs and Jews hate each other with a passion, and have done so for thousands of years, is a myth. Its political propaganda that serves an agenda, but that is all it is. Look at the history of Arab/Jewish relations and you'll see that the Jews, who were oppressed ALL over the world, were protected in Islamic/Arab lands. Before the Spanish inquisition, which was a mass slaughtering of the Jewish and Muslim community in Spain, is considered (by the Jews) as thier "Golden age".
This is not to say that there were never problems or that it was paradise on Earth, what community or period of time can claim that? But historically speaking the Jews/Arabs and then the Muslims have lived peacefully together, and in MANY cases, prosperously.
