Refresh my memory

On a comics page I'm on on Facebook, someone pretty much said Tony is no different than Loki, which we all know is a crock. They than said Tony is responsible for a lot of the wrong doings so far, what really made me laugh is when they said he's responsible for the wrong doing in this movie. When I asked them to elaborate I never got an answer. So I ask what besides nothing, did he do in this that was so wrong?

A lot of the problems in the MCU are caused by Tony and his shenanigans: not this movie, but the other movies. Iron Man 3 wouldn't have happened if Tony wouldn't have left the Mandarin alone on the roof in 1999, and age of Ultron wouldn't have happened if he hadn't have made Ultron. Iron Man 2 would never have happened if he had kept his identity a secret in the first film.

Civil war was also partly his fault. He didn't give a sh!t that the building was blown up, until he found out that one of his interns was killed in the event. Later on, he was pissed at Cap because he knew Bucky killed his parents and didn't tell him, but it wasn't Bucky's fault. He was brainwashed. The only reason he fought cap was because he's selfish.

Overall, Tony is usually motivated to do things for the benefit of himself, not the good of the public. He doesn't care about saving the world or helping others, he only cares about himself and his money. That's why a lot of people don't like iron Man as a character, because he's kind of a pompous a$$.
