The Female Eye Film Festival has announced this year's recipient of the 2008 Honourary Director Award. It should come as no surprise that Kari Skogland will be presented with the coveted award. Her film, The Stone Angel, is the opening gala presentation for the 6th annual festival which runs in Toronto from March 27th to the 30th. Skogland will be given the award, which is presented by the Ontario division of the Director's Guild of Canada, by Toronto filmmaker Gail Harvey.
