Poignant

I'm a 21 year old American who has not read the book, and will freely admit it is not the kind of book that I would usually choose for myself.

However, I watched the movie and adored it. (It reminded me a little of Evening. Both are movies that revolve around a dying womans memories of her past - and of her one true love.)

I am planning on picking up the book the next time I am at Barnes & Noble. I may have it all wrong, that is why I'll read the book, but to me the message was: you never know how good things truly are.
