Talking songs

The Russian texts of the songs contribute a lot to the movie. They all have relevant meaning. The main song, for example, says: I will take you on a small raft to a secure place etc. The opposite from what is actually heppening. This is another tool that the director uses to stress the difference between two country's faces. One that is existing officially and the other one, that people don't talk about and don't sing about. Not just the goverment, but people in general. These are things that people deny it's very existance, and this is what makes them so unprotected, when it heppens.
