Great fun drama. Not sure why it has a low score

For a low budget, low tech movie, this movie is pretty good.
This movie harkens to like X-men origins of folks like Charles Xavier, Jean Grey and others like them - mind readers/mind controllers.

I liked the simplistic story with some pondering morality thrown in at the end.
With just a few chars, its easy to guess who the bad guys should be, but the movie does leave you guessing with some twists and turns, albeit it ends predictably just to leave your original guess vindicated.

I enjoyed this movie. The acting was great. Nick stahl is a decent actor, the lead actress was beautifully stunning and an apt choice for the part. Kira was weaker but the Princess Bride Sicilian was great. The evil govt. woman wasn't a good choice as well. Needed someone stronger, more dark and ruthless like Helen Mirren type.

There was a dearth of action, leads were really non-confrontational, govt. wasn't really depicted besides just a few chars. Overall, it definitely reeked low budget. Still, the movie was enjoyable.
