Excellent acting, plot and setting. Yet I never heard of Border 1918 before I saw it on TV yesterday. So I'm just wondering, has anyone heard any publicity for this film outside Finland? I find it kind odd for such a good film to be so unknown, especially considering I live in a neighbouring country to Finland.
shareWell lets just say that the production company screwed up the marketing and it really did not get much spotlight in other countries and even in Finland they didn't advertise it much. I also admit its a good movie and in reality quite accurate of its historical background as the border really did cut some villages straight down the middle making the other side Finnish and the other Soviet. To any history fan this movie is a good one to see.
