Amazing movie...

This is my first post on IMBd.

Some people have said this movie has a weak plot and on Rotten Tomatoes it has a really low score. I was really surprised to see such a low score... especially on a UK movie review site. I'm not going to give anything away about this movie except to say it is the most powerful movie I have seen in a long time. There are at least two incredibly potent messages brought forth and I can't understand how so few people who watch this movie actually notice them. This is not a big-budget-action-comedy-cheese-fest and I guess this is exactly the reason.

If you want to watch a superbly acted, seriously powerful movie watch this.

I agree

Thanks, araine78 (I've watched it because of your post)!

We all have our own opinions obviously but in my opinion take everything araine said and make it opposite.

The plot was trash. the acting was ok, the black guy was pretty good I'll give him that. the message of the story was just inane and pointless and the script seemed like something written on an weekend bender by my friends when i was in high school.

Terrible terrible movie...

I agree.

You So Ugly, You Look Like You Got Superpowers...

Couldn't agree more.
Worst of all i the end where movie from crime goes to poetic drama.

The plot is dodgy but satisfying I believe. It wouldn't have been able to stand if the acting wasn't so great. Each of the three main characters showed powerful performances.

The script was designed for it I suppose, being originally a play and all.

Overall an excellent film.

I totally agree Araine...

Mackintosh, Walters and Serkis were fantastic. The story was very realistic, the characters were believable.

Just a small snapshot of the events that go on behind the scenes in every town in the UK every day. Sadly.

Not the usual sort of film I'd go for - I hadn't intended to watch it and missed the first 20 minutes. But, it caught my attention while I was flicking channels and I rather liked it... Not the greatest film ever made. But, very watchable, with an interesting visual style, I thought... Certainly deserves better than the two stars Radio Times gives it.

very nice movie.I liked it.There is one thing I did not like. Why do people swing/shake camera all the time ? Director or cameraman try to distract audience? or do they believe shaking camera makes beating much harder?

Except this camera shaking very nice movie and plot.It just gives a message, you should value your life no matter what you occasion is.There are two guys with different life backgrounds, having different life histories. In your life you would not be encountering some like D who tells you how much valuable your life is and what he may sacrifice to have a life like yours.

This movie is theatrical.Especially that black man is very talented.I admired his acting.
