Theres loads about Fannys hair, but what about Marias! whats with the long stands hanging down by her ears!! I guess they are just trying to make it more appealing for modern audiences, rather than the 1995 lizzie look, but its sooo wrong!

I think the OP was talking about Maria Bertram's hair rather than Mary Crawford's. It can get confusing because their names are similar.
But I do agree that Maria's hair hanging down was inappropriate for the time period.
