Sigourney Weaver talking to the other parent's children (scene)
SPOILERS.
The scene in the park halfway through the movie where Sigourney is asking the children's names and encouraging them to go down the slides and attempting to stop children fighting was over the top - the parents were over the top, she was in view of everyone, they saw everything that was going on, she wasn't doing anything dreadful, i think the parents overreacted.
One of the nannies tole her to mind her own business, maybe she should have, but overall she wasn't hurting the kids, and the kids didn't even seem to mind or care that she was talking to them, they weren't scared and they didn't look anxious, the parents didn't like her talking to their kids, that was the problem.
I did think that Sigourney Weaver went overboard when the bike-cops wanted to talk to her, she made things worse for herself, if she'd had just walked out of the park with them voluntarily they wouldn't have grabbed her arms forcing her out of there, she wasn't even arrested anyway.
Maybe i'm wrong about all this, i don't have kids, so maybe i don't understand, i just think the parents overreacted and S.W didn't have any business talking to the children in the park, but the viewers know that she's traumatised whereas the character parents at the park didn't.
