The Ark is in Ethiopia.

Thou it did no get there as generaly asusmed. The Ethiopian Jews (Who would have had it first) actually don't think much of the Menelek story, that legend was mostly propaganda for the Axumite kings to give themselves a line of descent to brag about.

The best book on the Ark being in Ethiopia is Graham Hancock's The Sign and The Seal. However it's NOT from a Christian POV and that gives a few detail sin how it's argument is presented that I don't like. For a Christian viewpoint try these links.

The first 2 are audio and visual versions of the same event, the 3rd is a radio show dealing with it, and the last 3 are articles you can read.

There's no evidence the Ark is Ethiopia beyond a few stories and the claims of the church in Axum.
