I'm kinda disappointed by Kratos's reaction at the end

I'm kinda disappointed by Kratos's reaction at the end.I finished this game again on PS3 yesterday,and wasn't really happy with how it ended.He obviously showed sadness at the fact that he killed Athena,but then goes back to anger after he finds out that Zeus is his father.

As she was dying Athena expained to him what he was doing wrong but he didn't even care.

Kratos is basically a selfish and cruel person,but he never seems to want to improve himself!!!

And of course everything went downhill after that game!!!

I should have known those alien maggots booby trapped this sub.
