Icarus's wings

I'm having trouble using Icarus's wings.Which button am I supposed to press to glide?I keep pressing buttons,but can't seem to stay in the air long enough to cross the gap on the Face of Atlas.

Tap the double jump and hold down jump. The wings deteriorate if you hold then for long periods of time. Then you fall straight down
